FLAME RETARDANT GP 01536

flame retardantsGP 01536 has a greater thermal stability than GP 00628 and is recommended for applications where critical processing conditions require high thermal stability (particularly injection moulding processes).

FLAME RETARDANT PE 01453

Masterbatch of 50% brominated organic compound, specifically designed for the manufacture of polypropylene multifilaments and raffia. Used at 4% it complies with the Italian Class 1. Lab tests indicate that PE 01453 is more effective than GP 01178.

FLAME RETARDANT GP 01178

Brominated organic compound with extremely high concentration of active ingredients (81%). This masterbatch is ideal for polypropylene multifilament extrusion. Used at 3% it complies with the Italian Class 1.

FLAME RETARDANT GREY GP 92981

Masterbatch which gives self-extinguishing properties and grey colour (RAL 7037) to PP pipes (thickness 1.6mm). The additives contained in this masterbatch ensure good oxidation resistance in the final product.

FLAME RETARDANT PP 01544

Brominated organic compound and synergic substance in a polypropylene carrier. This masterbatch can be combined with normal HALS UV stabilisers for outdoor polypropylene applications. Particularly recommended for the manufacture of stadium seats.

FLAME RETARDANT GP 02019

Formulation based on antimony trioxide-free halogen. It is recommended for polypropylene homopolymer and copolymer applications and for applications which require a low emission of toxic substances as well as flame retardant properties. This special formulation has been designed to give self-extinguishing properties to polypropylene homopolymers and copolymers used for the manufacture of hoods for domestic kitchens.

FLAME RETARDANT GREY PP 94173

Dispersion of brominated organic compound modified by an inorganic synergic compound and pigments (RAL 7035) in a polypropylene carrier. It is recommended for PP extrusion and injection moulding. This formulation guarantees good mechanical properties for the manufactured goods.

FLAME RETARDANT GP 01795

Dispersion of nitrogen compound in a polyethylene copolymer, free from fillers and slip agents. It is halogen-free and is specifically designed to give self-extinguishing properties to polypropylene homopolymers and copolymers, even with carbon black is present. The use of this masterbatch is recommended for applications which require both flame retardant performance and low smoke emissions.

FLAME RETARDANT PP 01673/UV

Dispersion of 20% HALS in polypropylene. It is a halogen-free product based on a revolutionary flame retardant system, which also acts as a UV stabiliser. Masterbatch suitable for PP multifilament extrusion, without interfering in the final colour of the end-product. Extrusion temperature should be as low as possible and should not exceed 230°C.

FLAME RETARDANT GP 01282

Halogen-free dispersion of phosphorus and nitrogen derivatives, designed for polyolefin resins. This masterbatch is suitable for use with PP copolymers and glassreinforced PP, but not for talc-filled PP.

FLAME RETARDANT GREY PP 93325

Masterbatch suitable for injection moulding of PP pipe-fittings. Used at 7%, PP 93325 complies with DIN 4102 B1 and gives the endproduct the same grey colour as RAL 7037.

FLAME RETARDANT PE 01767

Synergetic combination of antimony trioxide and chlorinated organic compound. This masterbatch is particularly recommended for selfextinguishing applications in polyethylene film and is designed for gas-foamed LDPE extrusion (XPE). It begins to degrade at temperatures above 200-220°C.

FLAME RETARDANT PE 02033

Synergetic combination of antimony trioxide and a brominated organic compound with a high concentration of active ingredients. The choice of polyethylene used for the carrier and the antioxidant make this masterbatch suitable for use in cast film, where processing temperatures are high. It is particularly recommended for self-extinguishing applications in polyethylene film. Moreover, since it has great thermal stability, no problems of blooming are present.

FLAME RETARDANT PE 01532

Combination of brominated organic and synergetic inorganic compounds at 75%, in a LDPE carrier. It has been designed to make polyolefine films self-extinguishing. The special formulation prevents the formation of residue on the surface of the final product (migration), a phenomenon often seen with traditional flame retardant additives due to their high concentration. Films can therefore be welded, printed and coated. It is, however, good practice to check the compatibility of the masterbatch with the production methods employed by the client.

FLAME RETARDANT GP 00960

Masterbatch containing high concentration (81%) of organic chlorinated compound and synergetic inorganic agent. Recommended for LDPE film applications. Optical effect: translucent (opaline).

FLAME RETARDANT PE 01467

Synergetic combination of chlorinated organic compound and antimony trioxide. This masterbatch is designed for gas foamed polyethylene extrusion (XPE). Used at 10%, it complies with Italian Class 1 regulations.

FLAME RETARDANT PP 02324

Halogen-free masterbatch containing red phosphor. Very good price/performance ratio.

FLAME RETARDANT GP 02147

Combination of synergetic brominated organic compound in an ethylene copolymer. The special formulation, specifically designed for styrenic polymers, also in combination with polycarbonate, is recommended for applications where optimum mechanical properties are required by the end-user. A further characteristic is the absence of migration to the surface by the additives (blooming).
